Goin' Off The Rails On A Crazy Train
hey, howdy, hello everyoneeeee!!!
How is it going? Wasssss poppin'? I just wanna say I love you all, and I hope your week was super good. Anyway, my week was a little nuts, but that's okay, it's definitely one I won't forget haha.
So, let me give you some background to this story before you all give me crap okay.... so for about 6 days we didn't have dish soap, because we were trying to be obedient and wait until p-day to buy dish soap... so we didn't wash all the dishes in our sink... for six days.... It's really embarrassing, I know. And so, obviously, we ended up having some science experiments growing throughout those dishes.... which made Hermana Worthington freak out. And I mean REALLY freak out. She wanted to just throw away all of our dishes and buy new ones, which I told her was a really bad idea and that we could just clean it and get new cleaning supplies. Which is what we ended up doing after we bought dish soap and bleach. And we thoroughly cleaned all of it, bleached it, the whole thing. So lesson very much learned, don't delay buying dish soap, buy dish soap and wash your dishes. I will never forget. And in the midst of all that chaos, Hermana Worthington looks at me and says: "It could be worse, we could've gotten into a car accident." .... can anyone tell where this is going? lol. Welp, we didn't get into a car accident, but a few days later Hermana Worthington scratched a car in front of her while parallel parking. So it was kinda crazy. We were trying to find the owners to give them our information for the scratch on their car, and these sweet people, the owners, wouldn't take it. And everything ended up being okay, but it just felt a lot crazier than it sounds. But we're really doing good!!
TODAY is transfer day!!! And I am staying here in South Bay with Hermana Worthington!! WOOOHOOO!! We are so pumped and ready for this second transfer together!! So life is just really good!!
Let me talk about a MIRACLE!!! (Not about Walter this time haha, but keep praying for him to find a job!!)
This time I'm going to talk about my friend Mario and his roommate Jose! (Everyone lives in apartments here, so we teach a lot of people who have roommates). Anyway, a few weeks ago Mario asked us to pray for his roommate Jose and for his family. He didn't specify why or anything, but we stopped what we were teaching and prayed for him right then and there. The next week we come back and Jose is eagerly waiting with Mario for our lesson. We asked him how he was doing, and before he answered all he said was: ``It worked" and we were a little confused, but he explained that Mario had told him about our prayer for him and his family, and it worked. It helped his mom. And so he has been making it a priority to be there when we have lessons with Mario!! How cool is that?!?! We are so excited for Mario and Jose to keep learning about how they can become closer to Jesus Christ. It was truly a blessing.
I love you all!! Keep looking for the tender mercies in your life!! And know that God loves you so so SO mucho!!
