I KNEED Thee Every Hour!! (Get it?)

Hello all my beautiful friends and family!! 

 

 

I just want to start off by saying thank you to everyone who reached out after last week's email about my knee!! Thank you for your encouragement and prayers!! Y'all are awesome!! I guess while I'm on this subject I'll give you a little update on my knee. I went to the doctor on Wednesday, and he told me that I strained my meniscus. He gave me a set of physical therapy exercises to do for the next 5 weeks, and if my knee is still in pain after that, I'm probably going to have to get an MRI so we can figure out what the real problem is. So it's a little relief, but I'm not totally out of the woods yet. My knee hasn't been in as much pain as before, but it still has its ups and downs. Hopefully it'll be all good in 5 weeks!! 

 

 

This week felt like the longest week ever. Seriously it lasted like 5 years. But that's okay! Even though this week was a little more difficult, the Lord still put a lot of tender mercies in my path. I ate a lot of my favorite foods, I met another person here from Arkansas (small world), I got to teach a lot of little kids this week (I love being with kiddos, they're so fun... and their Spanish is easier to understand haha), I got to go to the temple, and call my family TWICE last week (because it was my niece's birthday). 

 

 

I am so grateful that God knows each one of us perfectly!! He wants us to always remember how loved we are!! 

 

 

Little random funny from this week, I complimented this member's blazer bc I thought it was super cool. And she proceeded to take it off and give it to me. After a couple minutes of me protesting and telling her I didn't need it, she insisted that I did and gave it to me. So now I have this blue snake-skin blazer. It's so cool, but I have no idea when I'll wear it.

Haha, okay okay, so before any of you freak out, I AM OKAY. I didn't have a seizure, all is well. I promise.      But this week was LOCO. BUENOOOOOO!!      How is everyone doing?!?! This is going to be a shorter email again, haha, but I'll tell you some stories.     Also GENERAL CONFERENCE, that was amazing!! General conference is when we get the chance to hear from our modern day Prophet and apostles! They share uplifting messages about Jesus Christ! It was this past weekend, and if you want to know more let me know!!      We went and taught some friends this past week, and we asked one friend (named Walter) if he wants to be able to live with his family forever... AND HE STRAIGHT UP TOLD US NO. It had me and my companions jaws on the floor. But we were able to reroute the conversation and he agreed that he wants to be able to love his family forever.
